Any tricks or advice on assembly of ignition coils?

I bought new ignition coils for my 1974 115HP Johnson. The coils come disassembled (kit includes coil, spark plug boot, spring that clips onto end of spark plug, tubing). Any secrets on how to assemble these? It seems fairly straight forward, but thought there might be some wizards out there who have a better way! I'm assuming the sharp end of the spring is forced into the wire so it makes contact with the center wire, then some how forced through the boot....

These are pretty straight forward. Just pierce the insulation at the end of the wires with the sharp end of the clips until you make certain contact with the inner conductor. I like to coat the clips and wire ends with silicon dielectric compound this makes it easier to slide the clips into the plug boots and will provide corrosion and to a lesser degree arcing resistance. Then put the outer sleeving on the wires also to provide another degree of insulation and wire chafing protection. You probably want to tailor the wire length as required at this point. I believe there are also some grommets that need to be installed somewhere in this process. This should be self explanatory. On the coil end I like to fill the cavities where the wires enter the coil with dielectric compound, again the aim is to displace oxygen and providing an insulating barrier to mitigate the effects of corossion and arcing potential. The wires actually tread onto small studs within the coils tighen them until reasonable resistance is encountered, but dont get carried away and twist too hard. After twisting the wires into the coils seat the grommets in their respective holders and secure the plug connections..... DONE
