Well, my friends and I will take the 2 hr. ride to NYC to get a winter taste of the next boating season upon us and will be at the NY boat show at the Javits center on Sunday. Anybody else plan on going, or have already gone?
Usually did make a day of it when the dates used to fall between Xmas and New Years. The new schedule makes it tough for me to attend so probably not this year (can't spend Sat in the city with the boys staring at boats and Sunday in front of the tube staring at the playoffs and Monday out cod fishing without a lawyer calling on behalf of Mrs Angus).
We are going to stick around for the Jets game and find somewhere to watch the game grab some grub and some beers. Any suggestions on where to go without being in a huge crowd??

The ESPN zone in Times Square has more TV's than Sears and will be mobbed with Jet Fans. I would stroll around Hell's Kitchen for a little hole in the wall for some local color.

Yea, I have been to the ESPN Zone and some of the other Times Square area places. Would like to see some local color as long as that does not include the color being me having a black eye or a bloody nose, me being a giants fan.
