I've been trying to find a folding or retractable bow boarding ladder for my 19' open bow. I've seen these on new boats and they look handy for pushing out from the shore then coming aboard the forward instead of having to kill the out drive when they come around stern, takes them awhile and the boat starts drifting back to shore/rocks. I appreciate any leads.

Try a swim platform ladder, howeveer on a 19 ft bowrider on the beach how high are you from the ground? I use an rv ladder myself, boat my deck is 6 ft above the waterline.

West Marine sells them. I think they have permanent ones. I used to have one that just layed in the boat until we needed to get the wife back in the boat after island hopping. It would just hang over the side where ever you wanted it is as it was totally portable, It floated too. One time we were fighting the crashing waves trying to leave an island, as the boat had drifted in a little bit, and in our haste to avoid getting beached the ladder fell off as I was full throttle ahead. Circled back and found it floating.
