Anyone ever disassemble an Airguide Barometer?

Not sure if this is the best section for this, figured the restoration section might be the best. Please move if necessary.

So, I've got this Airguide brand Marine Barometer that came with my boat and I need to take it apart to clean and restore as much of it as possible.
I'm not sure how to separate the top and bottom portion. I have tried twisting to try and unscrew it with no success. I'm hesitant to try and pry the top off of it.
Anyone have any insight?

I have a very similar one, might even be the same case with a different dial. I’m not sure it will come apart, trying to open it may do more harm than good.

Mostly those were made by 'compressing' the metal around the base. The only way to open it up is to pry it open, and they never look good when you try to put them back together.

the bezel is crimped onto the gauge, looks to be a rolled crimp.
