Once I got the boat for $7000 US, with all taxes, exchange, and little repairs I ended up with $12000 CDN total. Three years later I sold it for $10000 CDN, which at the time of sale with dollars at par was $10000 US. So did I make money or loose?:confused:

We have a member who buys in CA and then resells in Australia. Usually with no work required . . .

Lots of monetary dynamics going on, since neither country uses real money.

Both countries use fiat currency that is manipulated at the whim of the Federal Reserve (which is neither Federal, or has any reserve).

IMO, you lost "money".

Depends on where you spent the money...

Spent it in the US, you made money...

Spent it in Canada, you lost money...

You used the boat for three years, probably broke even...
