Anyone familiar with LA boat manufacturers?

By LA I mean Louisianna. I'm trying to recall the name of a custom aluminum boat builder down there that made great plate aluminum boats but now only builds for the coast guard or navy. It was something like Gravoit, I read about them
when researching plate aluminum offshore boats. They had very good reviews but no longer build for the public. Only gov contract.

While Jimmy is only making boats for the Navy and Coast Guard, his son Alex has opened his own shop next door (American Aluminum Marine) and is making the original Gravois hulls for the public again. Thanks for the name. I didn't know about the son opening a spin off. Those guys sure make beautiful boats. Maybe one day I can find a
used one for sale or at an estate auction. I can't imagine many used ones come up for sale other than hardship sales or estate sales.
They look like they'll last many generations.
