IS it that thing that prevents a start in forward or reverse? I might have it but I don't know if it will fit your engine. (6hp)

THe bottom part is 2" length by 1 9/16" width. And about 2" tall
Here is a pic. I think you have to copy and paste it into the address bar for it to work correctly.

http://www.geocities.com/jquest2010/6020.JPG
http://www.geocities.com/jquest2010/6021.JPG
http://www.geocities.com/jquest2010/6022.JPG

And here are the engines.
Where Used: [0319299 (GROMMET)]
25702H 1977
25702S 1977
25703H 1977
25703S 1977
25752H 1977
25752S 1977
25753H 1977
25753S 1977
25802C 1978
25803C 1978
25852C 1978
25853C 1978
25904R 1979
25905R 1979
25952R 1979
25953R 1979
25E77S 1977
25E78C 1978
25E79R 1979
25EL77H 1977
25EL77S 1977
25EL78C 1978
25EL79R 1979
25R77H 1977
25R77S 1977
25R78C 1978
25R79R 1979
25RL77H 1977
25RL77S 1977
25RL78C 1978
25RL79R 1979
35602G 1976
35602S 1976
35603G 1976
35603S 1976
35652G 1976
35652S 1976
35653G 1976
35653S 1976
35702C 1977
35702H 1977
35703C 1977
35703H 1977
35752C 1977
35752H 1977
35753C 1977
35753H 1977
35802R 1978
35803R 1978
35852R 1978
35853R 1978
35902A 1979
35903A 1979
35952A 1979
35953A 1979
35E76G 1976
35E76S 1976
35E77C 1977
35E77H 1977
35E78R 1978
35E79A 1979
35EL76G 1976
35EL76S 1976
35EL77C 1977
35EL77H 1977
35EL78R 1978
35EL79A 1979
35R76G 1976
35R76S 1976
35R77C 1977
35R77H 1977
35R78R 1978
35R79A 1979
35RL76G 1976
35RL76S 1976
35RL77C 1977
35RL77H 1977
35RL78R 1978
35RL79A 1979
E25RCSA 1980
E25RLCSA 1980
E25TECSA 1980
E25TELCSA 1980
E35ECSM 1980
E35ELCSM 1980
E35TCSM 1980
E35TLESM 1980
J25RCSA 1980
J25RLCSA 1980
J25TECSA 1980
J25TELCSA 1980
J35ECSM 1980
J35ELCSM 1980
J35RCSM 1980
J35RLCSM 1980

Re: Anyone have a shift latch grommet lying around?

ok...just got back from vacation. The people emailed me and told me they didn't have the part. I found this place on the net and the guy had it new. http://www.marinepartsoutlet.com/new_parts.htm
Told me it would be in my hands in two days. Thought I'd post the place since he was so helpful and cheaper than the other guys. :)
