The old girl's almost ready, just a few more parts and we can start assemblyd:) I'm now in the market for a new set of pistons for a 60 over 390.

I'd like to keep it around 9.5 to 1 comp. and .060 overs are kinda sparse for that engine, at least ones that list comp. specs are. However, I'm most likely not looking in the right places.

I'm more of a paint and body guy and this sort of stuff makes my head hurt so I'm beggin for some professional help! Any advice is most welcome.

Here a pic cuz I know how much you guys like pics.8)

ITS A FODE ! !

What piston you thinking about? I rebuilt a chevy 327 and went with single valve relief 10:1 flat tops. I ran well on pump gas.

It's a BIGOFODE!8)

I found a cast set on Ebay, the guy sez 9.4/1 but posts no combustion chamber specs. Stock FE heads vary from 68 to 75 cc so I'm not sure how he came up with this number... If the bidding doesn't get out of hand, these have promise. Summit has a set of forged for over $300.:% Those would be sweet but are probably overkill for this build. Here is a link to the set on Ebay:
