At www.ifish.net in the classified section is a 19' starcraft Cheiftain boat project $500.

I already have a 21' so not in need of a 19', if it was a 24 or 25 foot I would be all over it for $500.

That looks like a very good deal.

After reading the whole thread, it appears there are a few boaters there that don't understand what a great opportunity that is for the right person.

The price is ok, but there is lots of work. That old of engine/outdrive I bet is toast, no spark plug in one cylinder. I went through the issue with an old 140/outdrive.
Cost to get that boat in good shape is going to cost thousands, but you would have a good runner when done.
The trailer needs some help.
Compared to cost of new boat if you have time to rebuild it would make someone a good boat.
Don't see too many starcrafts here on the west coast. I am keeping my eye out for a 24 or 25 footer. I think the wife would let me eventually rebuild another one and put twin outboards on it to go tuna fishing.
