I purchased a used 2010 APC 5 hp outboard motor. It needs some parts. I can't find any references to it on the internet other than a comment on one forum that it is a Mercury clone that is manufactured in China. I would appreciate any information that might assist me in finding a source for the parts that I need........thanks........George (Bonn), Trenton, Ontario Canada

Welcome to iboats, George.

Never heard of APC outboards.
I can find absolutely no info or reference to them on the web.

Do you have any photos?
Or an owners manual?
Is there a manufacturers info plate on the motor? City or country of origin?

APS was, repeat was a Yamaha clone, I think.
Not sure if they are still being made, but several dealers seem to not be carrying them any longer.

Thanks for the heads-up about the name. It is indeed APS. The internet suggests that APS is still marketed in Canada. I'm currently looking for a dealer......George

That a 2010 OB needs parts says it all. If you find that indeed its a clone, the US or Japanese clone parts that "might" fit it probably won't. BTDT.

Sell it to some unsuspecting soul on Craigslist and buy a Mercury, Evinrude or Yamaha.

It's a Parsun. By 10 of anything that breaks as it will keep breaking or wearing out.
