Well it was 83 degrees yesterday and mid-70's today and a day before easter I am going to MOW MY LAWN. Yep, 4 weeks ago we were shoveling snow and now with a house full of guests coming for easter, I need to mow my lawn. It is green and lush. Has anyone even summerized their snowblowers yet?<br /><br />I would love to stay and chat but the mower is calling me and the wife is reminding me. So off I go to the yard to perform duties about 3 weeks earlier than ever before. (It's a fairly big yard and it takes a couple of hours to complete.) Not really a complaint as the boat comes out next week but I really hate this chore and there is no way around it. Heck maybe if I finish early I can plant a palm tree.<br /><br />Have a nice day!!!

Aint mowed yet, danged old rockpile hill takes a lot of water, I water just enough to keep it alive. Need rain

Got the snowblower put away a few days ago.......still have yet to get the lawnmower out from storage.<br /><br />I probably should soon though, with all the rain thats being forcasted, I cant imagine its gonna grow slowly

Summerize = A made up word by pointer referring to a similiar ritual performed on gas/diesel engines to ensure performance after protracted storage. See winterization and add 6 months. <br /><br />Performing either procedure usually indicates a change of season and pretty much sucks for the owner. Exception: snowblower.

Thats what the neighbors told me.<br /><br /><br />Believe it or not I think "summerized" is a pretty common expression around these parts. I have always used it.

I've never heard of summerized pretty cool.done mowed my grass 3 times a fun way to do is this chore is get a cooler full of beer put it under a tree and start mowing when you finish one ride to the cooler and get another its amazing how a little over an acre of mowing can be fun,and when its all done and the cooler is empty you can sit under a nice tree and enjoy the wonderful job you just did
