I Was wondering if my volvo has an ignition interrupter on the carb like a mercruiser or elsewhere?

No it doesn't.

What Rpm is your idle set to?

Does it clunk the same going into forward and reverse?

Some of the clunking can come from the play in the outdrive, or it can be from wear.

idle set at 800rpm and clunks same in forward and reverse, its not a bad clunk but it is louder after driving for awhile also seems to stick in gear after driving for awhile, again i have to pull back on the throttle a little harder than when its cold, just wondering if their related or this is normal

You shouldn't be idling that fast with a V8, get the speed down to 650 to 750 and see how it works.
