I have an exhaust manifold on a project boat I am finishing from someone else (first mistake I know) and the exhaust manifold that is on the engine does not match anything I have seen in any pictures I've found. The issue I have is there is a hole on the side of the manifold and I'm not sure if I just need to plug it with a freeze plug or if it is missing some other component. The engine is not plumbed for an oil cooler as the pipe goes straight from the heat exchanger to the aft end of the manifold.
Pictures are attached if I did this correctly...

No pics??
The manifold in the pic(top one) is what a AQ125a should have.
IF??? The plugs have been pushed out it's probably junk?
The manifold if it's original? Then it's 30 years old and needs to be replaced.
The rust NEVER stops once it starts and at 30 it probably is bad.
Is there a name on the side?
Now if the manifold looks different than that it's probably older.
Try another pic.
If you can't post then send me a PM with your e-mail and I'll post for you.
