are all carbs the same

hi everyone
I have 125 1988
I have 2 carbs one has tc-xxxx and the otherone has only numbers.
question is are all force 125 from 1983 and up are the same?
if not please tell me what to look for thanks

On 125's the part numbers seems to be different between the top and the bottom carbs. I'm not sure if this has to do with the fuel connections or something but otherwise they all look the same. You might want to check boats dot net and check the parts you are looking for.

All carbs are the same the way all women are the same. On multi carb engines, the bottom carb will have a different number than the top carb simply because the top fitting is a 90 degree instead of a tee.

The same casting is used for all carbs of a class--WB or TC for example-- but different carbs will be jetted and vented differently. In your case, if you take off the bowl and look at the stamped number on the brass jet, if it is the same (.096, .0925 etc.) then you have a matched pair.
