Our rule is that the kids stay in the car until the boat is in the water. They have their lifejacket and proceed right on the boat. They are to get their seats and sit down.

Couple of weeks ago, I am backing up my trailer down the ramp....and I have not 1 but 3 separate individuals along with their kids step right between me and the ramp. This is with me in reverse and moving!!! I braked for the first one...and started up again...only to have another person start across. I kid you not...it was not until everyone had cross before I could continue. WTF?!:mad:

And when the dock is full of "picnicers and partyers, or there is no dock?

never seen someone picnicing on the courtesy docks where I launch, and my post was prefaced by "if theres a courtesty dock"
