Well my wife and I get back into the dock shortyly before the sun starts to drop and on the left side of the dock is a group of 3 adults and 1 kid. They have a fairly new 22' +/- a few feet pontoon boat that is lined up and ready to take the rest of the way up onto the trailer, the two men are on the ramp with the winch and the safety hook, the woman behind the controls on the boat, just listening to them talk you could tell a bit of drinking had been practiced during there day on the water.

They woman keeps on yeeling "now" and tehe men keep on saying "not yet"

Finally she gets the go ahead, and she gives it everything the engine has, well the boat flies forward and slams into the stop on the trailer and sends the men running and screaming at her to stop, she finally does and blams it on the men that they didn't tell her to stop, I wasn't able to look for the damage, but with the loud crunch, I know there was.

But wait the story is not over,

they get the boat secured and proceed to pull it from the water with something like a Sidekick. Well the trailer is a good looking trailer, new as well, they move forward and catch one of the cross brackets on the ramp, and commence to tear the hell out of it as well, the kid is screaming that the trailer is too low (the only one with any comon sence) and they kept on until they toreup the ramp and the cross beam, but never stoped upon leaving the ramp, they pulled right out of the area.

Re: at the dock yesterday

Towing that rig with a Sidekick is a good clue that they were not the brightest bulbs in the the box . Then they just got dimmer with the stupid juice ...

Yeah , good entertainment at the ramp , but , a tragedy looking for a place to occur .

Anybody want to bet the boat was borrowed from a relative ?
