Joe i posted the question about the evinrude contol box with the warmup lever slipping .If it might be just a loose screw, why is it so labor intensive and would I have to just about tear it apart to get at it?<br />I would put my mech ability at average, whatever that means lol<br /><br />thnx<br />mark

See my post to your first question.<br /><br />It's not that labor intensive, just a pain in the **&^.<br /><br />First you have to remove the control box.<br /><br />Second, you have to seperate the halves.<br /><br />Once you get it apart, you'll see how everything works. It's actually quite simple, just a lot of little pieces to keep track of.
