Finally got spark on all 4 but now its the worst motor I ever heard. I could barely get it to start and it kept killing and backfiring and would not stay running and made different pitch sounds. I think I may have crossed the orange wires from the ppack to coils on cylinders 1 and 3. I will check that. I was wondering if that could be my problem or if the flywheel key may be sheared? Now I got good spark, compression, and good fuel to all 4 carbs. But something is very wrong. Sounds like timing to me like sheared key or mixed up wires??? Does this sound right. I will take a look tmw at update. Thanks.

Top Primary coil wires should be Orange with Blue Stripe.

If you didn't torque the flywheel nut to factory specifications (145' lbs), in all likelyhood the key sheared. Remove the flywheel and check it. The straight outer edge of the key should be straight up and down with the engine NOT aligned with the crankshaft taper.
