Well I thought I'd give you an update on the old boat. It somehow managed to find a new home. It was kind of hard selling a boat with pictures of a hack job in the ad....Someone actually wanted it. I received $400 for the Boat/Trailer/40hp motor. Enough money to get a pair of new seats (which I already did ).
