Somehow I thought you had a standoff motor bracket to get the engine away from the hull a bit. Don't know where I read that must be the itch of fiberglass making me forget

No, I indicated that I INTEND to install a jackplate of some sort this winter or spring. I'd like more bow lift.<br /><br />Is your interior out yet? I can't tell in your pictures, is your hull metal flake on the bottom side or a silver color? Either way, it's a cool color scheme. I like the lighter vinyl you're using for the new interior. Are you doing the upholstery yourself?

Calico.. I have not split the boat yet, hope to tomorrow (sunday) I am gonna redo the transom so everythings gotta come apart. Been trying to finish up my fatherinlaws estate. and I gotta long winter to tear things apart and do a nice job in my heated shop. So far I have been doing the upholstery myself , the white and grey does look pretty good and its cooler than the dark grey .. the boat is metallic silver with a metallic black stripe. I am hoping to install a ski locker when I rebuild the floor.

If it's not too much trouble and when the time comes, try and take a wide angle picture of the inner hull once the floor is out. I always wondered why Baja wouldn't put in a ski locker, there's nowhere else to store anything. I figured there just wasn't enough room under the floor.<br /><br />Good luck, sounds like you're in for a big project! I'm sure the results will be great

I think you are right about the room for the ski locker . it looks pretty tight. considering I did not spend a lot on my ski's and they are pretty basic ,,I think they will fit. Thats one thing I have not checked yet
