I have a 3 cylinder, 1989, 60 hp merc. Last year it developed a bad habit of only starting, and running on two cylinders. After running for a while, (up to an hour) the third cylinder would kick in and run fine the rest of the day. This happened a number of times. I changed plugs but no success. Should I change the wires? A friend suggested looking at the magneto. Any ideas?
