Okay, got the big slip finally, and will leave the 1977 (great shape) 24' Bayliner Saratoga V/P 280 in the water for about 4 months in Puget Sound. Will paint the bottom, transducer paint on SS trim tabs, Trilux on the prop and lower leg. What to use on the middle working parts of the 280 outdrive? Thinking white grease, or will that deteriorate the bellows or whatever. Any suggestions? WD 40 will just wash off. Barnacles are tenacious so far this year! My 14' with no paint had a sandpaper hull in 2 weeks! Thanks in advance
