Sure.

Your boat wont make a wake though to play on, wakeboard boats (the real ones not runabout with towers) are made and setup just to make a big hill of water.

Hey, I can make plenty of wake:eek: Just won't be moving fast enough to pull anybody:p

Seriously though, if you DO put one on, I want to see pictures! That one might even make it up on the wall in my bar:)

I built a pylon for my 1979 17' Ranger. The boat doesn't throw a huge wake but it is enough to get a few feet in the air. You can defiantly tell the difference when using the pylon. I would like to build a tower for mine just to try it out. Let me know if you end up building it, I'd like to see how it turns out.

can i put a wakeboard tower on my 19' viper bass boat.
I think it would cause your boat to have an identity crisis.

Comments re: not enough wake: Open your eyes - they put towers on EVERYTHING these days. The people that care about the wake will know how to make it bigger, or have a boat designed for it.

The other benefits of a tower are 1) looks sharp (yes I know, but its true), 2) above board storage with racks, 3) oops ran out of steam, can't think of anything major besides the other stuff you can attach, like better rear view mirror placement.

Anyway, if you can rig it, I'd like to see it.

I saw a " red neck" version built out of 4"x4 "lumber- kinda funny---along with a small travel trailer on a pontoon boat..red neck humor.
i think a 4ft pole with supports off the transom that fits into the rear seat pedstal would work well. use a short tow rope about 8-10 feet off the stern for maximum wake.
You can dooo it!

Check out Monster Tower's website. There are a few photos of their towers on a few bass boats.

So yes, you can put a tower on just about anything. I wonder how one would look on my Jon Boat? :D
