Battery hooked up backwards. No life! Help!

A competent auto parts store should easily be able to connect the alternator up and test it. Just because your alternator isn't a typical automotive type doesn't make it untestable in a good auto parts store. It has the same type connectors and such and works the exact same way as vehicle alternators. It is just made to be spark proof so it doesn't spark in a boat engine compartment and blow things up. But it still can be tested using the same connectors for an automotive setup. JMHO

what motor is in the boat?

if this is an I/O, there should be a large 50 amp breaker. if that tripped, try there.

plan on a few things being toast.

Mine is a 5.0 inboard did the same thing last night what should I do found one blown fuse it's a 01 sea sport checked all fuse only one on master switch was blown
