hi and how are you? i have a 95 force 120 outboard engine. i want to install a second battery for my accessories. my isolator has four terminals. these are the terminals 1, 2 , A and E. i need help to install the battery correctly. thanks
bat 1 pos bat 2 pos Alt Engine main feed to starter you wont need the alt as that is for a car type alternator where you want to disconnect the field to shut it down.....dont turn it to off when the engine is running ..... the top should be 1 2 1+2 off
my force engine has tow big cables. one ground and one power. my engine doesn't have an alt but it has rotor. so the power cable form the engine should go to the alt on the battery isolator and a cable from the battery one and two positive side to the isolator terminal 1 and 2.. is this correct or not?
sent you a message but where you are going wrong is the A terminal ..this is only rated a few amps for switching the alternator rotor current on a car type alternator .....your power or positive should go to the E for Engine lead . batteries 1 and 2 and all negs and your ground lead together,
My battery isolator does not have a F terminal. the battery isolator has a battery terminal 1 and battery terminal 2 plus A terminal and E terminal. my problem is, which wire goes to terminal A and Terminal B. i know Terminal 1 is where my starting battery positive wire goes to and terminal 2 is where my second/aux battery positive goes to. my 95 force 120 outboard engine has only tow big cable coming from the engine. one is the negative and the other is the positive. where exactly should i connect the positive cable that comes from the engine?.
