Sorry for all the questions.

I have left my battery in my boat over the winter time. I used my volt meter and measured the post on the battery and have a reading of 12.10 volts. My question is if you agree is charge it up and see if it holds a charge. It has plenty of water in each cell above the plates at least. When I used the boat last year the battery was strong, no problems. I will buy a new battery but will wait until I see what you guys say. I could go to Advance auto parts or Auto zone to get the battery tested for free. Don't want to waste my money.

Charge it up and go for it. It should be fine.

B.B. charge it 3 times, once fast twice slow over the next 3 - 4 days. Then have it tested.Bet you'll be OK.We winterize 125 to ? ? ? boats a year (too busy to count).Only pull the batteries for half dozen, per customer request. As a rule,if the battery was good last fall,it will come back in the spring.

As I keep saying, batteries have come a long way in the past 10 years. We just don't realize it !

DHP
