Good luck with the boat, the advice offered seems spot on. Custom work is usually suspect, I think it would require some serious detailed investigation to even consider. Your budget will limit your choices, but you do have many, I would really keep looking for others to compare it to. Try not to impulse buy, because one day, you will need to sell it too.

He says its 19' and some change and doesn't thing its a factory center console. He thinks the previous owner custom built it and when he got it he had the boat place redo a lot of stuff and now its just a fish slaying machine...

Another reason to walk away. As someone mentioned, you're going to have to sell it one day too........

Yea I think ill pass on it. Starting to get to weird. I think its hiding something now. To bad it has to be a Bayliner. Lol

Trust your gut. I've passed on boats that looked like they would be worth a survey, because the seller made me uncomfortable. If you think he isn't being straight with you... go with it. If it isn't an issue with the boat itself, it'll be some ownership/paperwork problem instead.
