Bayliner instrument panel faded

I just got a good deal on a 95 Bayliner classic. Every is OK so far except the instrument panel is faded and it is very hard to see the lettering next to each switch as you can see in the attached photo. Thanks in advance for any advice on this.

Without a picture, it's hard to judge. But an idea popped into my head. What if you used vinyl wrap? A lot of people use it on their vehicle interiors. I don't know how it would hold up on a boat dash. If you can remove the panel and the gauges you can maybe vinyl wrap the faded part. Or simply sand prime and spray paint it.

Oh, never mind, sorry...I reread your post. I think you were more concerned with the labeling of the switches and stuff....
