I have owned about 7 I/O powered boats over the years.
Not bad if you take care of them and love the quite ride but love my outboard.
I like standing behind the boat to work on it instead bending like a pretzel to get into the bilge...

With minor correction to Paul, that's "Bill Engvall's" bit, not Foxworthy.

To the original poster, if the boat has never had bellows, replace them. If it last had bellows 5-6 years ago, you might consider replacing them again.

Or let me know how you kept it from sinking all these years. Must have been built on a Friday at 4:30 in the afternoon if they forgot to install the bellows...

Was going to replace my 10 year old stuff this year, just for the fun of it all. The new mercruiser bellows I picked up says "made in china" Is this the reason I'll be changing it out in 4 to 5 years? Who made their product 10 years ago?
