bent propeller shaft on a 1989 60 horse

hi i have a 1989 johnson 60 horse that that propeller shaft is bent a little on. can i buy just the shaft or do i need the whole lower unit? can i run it with a little bend? where to get the parts if it can be repaired ? thanks

No you can't and I don't know your options. The shaft from BRP is $355. If it's a very slight bend a good machine shop may be able to straighten it. I looked on fleabay and I believe this is your lower but can't be sure.

You need some special tools and a manual but if you are mechnically inclined you could rebuild the entire outboard.
