BEP battery switch

Hi i would like to flush mount a bep battery switch, now if i cut the hole out and put the switch in flush, how do i know where to drill the 4 holes

to secure it near the battery the templates it has do not show me how far or to use a cut out so i can drill and use mondel screws to secure it. its alloy boat so no SS screws allowed. any help thanks

If you can't get in behind to see, cut your mounting hole, loose mount the switch where you want it, dab a bit of ink on a cotton bud/q-tip and poke it into the screw mounting holes, it will leave a mark for you as a guide to drill.

Seems to me the square plate can be used as a template. Otherwise tape the area where you plan to drill. Measure the mounting hole spacing and draw it out on the tape. Now connect the mounting hole locations with an "X" from corner to corner. Where the lines cross is the center of the main hole. Drill away.

Yerp i was gonna do that just poke it in backwards and mark the holes with cotton bud with ink on the tip then drill that way thanks for the helps guys :)
