Hate to tell you this but speaker cones move in both directions. If they didn't, you wouldn't have true sound and have massive harmonic distortion. Not sure who your college professors were that taught electronics but maybe they should give you a refund

Um....YUP! You be right.

(If you want more peak audio power output, you can put HUGE capacitors in the DC power supply to handle the peak current requirements, and to reduce voltage drop and THD........but I digress!!)

I just want to drive up along side those guys with a "booming" and thumping car stereos and hit them with about 600W of RF!
