Best engine shaft length for Intex Mariner 4

Hi everybody

Few days ago i bought an Intex Mariner 4 and planning to add 2.5 HP motor.

Please I need an advice what is the best length of motor shaft that will fit with my boat.

Short shaft.... The motor mount is adjustable an inch or but you def need a 15" short shaft (which I believe is actually 18")

Just don't run the engine at full throttle or will heavily flex sib's back due to not having a solid transom built as in standard sibs, that's the spirit of that beast. Running 1/2 to 3/4 throttle will achieve fast displacement speeds which are better for that type of inflatable.

Thanks mrdrh99 and Sea Rider for the help, I think i will go for suzuki 2.5 HP short shaft (15 inch).

Any other suggestion please.
