BEST MANUAL FOR 4.3LX(GEN+)or4.3LXH(GEN+)????

I found out the engine block on our boat 91 bayliner capri 2050cx is a 96 or 97 ,everything else is from original engine for that year(cooling,carb,etc...) is the spark gap the same? timing?on both engines ? the manual I do have does give all that info for the original engine 4.3L (2bbl)GM 262 V-6 1988-92. Will all that info be the same for a 4.3LX(GEN+)2bbl GM 262 V-6 1996-97. IS THERE A BIG DIFFERANCE BETWEEN THE TWO???

The only thing the same between the 2 years is the number of cylinders.
The 96 engine has a balance shaft.

Thanks DON S ,Again I appreciate all the help !! I don't know what I would do with out this siteI am doing every thing I can to get her ready for this season. We had a blast last season with no complications

If you scroll down to the "Service Manual Outline" you can click on everything in there that is not in bold print. As you cursor around on the page the little hand will turn into a pointing finger when you are able to click.
