I DON"T recommend it but I pulled a 19' inboard ski boat and a 20' pontoon every weekend for 5 years with an anaemic 4 cylinder S-10..... 72 miles round trip and most of it on hilly roads. Since I rarely got out of 3rd gear I only got around 15mpg while towing and 26 when not towing. That little truck took a licking and is still ticking at 130k miles! I finally got a v6 blazer which was a major improvement but I abuse it too.....I pulled a race car hauler across NC and it pulled surprisingly well. Be warned that electric trailer brakes are a must!
