I don't have a dash panel wiring diagram so i'm not sure how power and ground distribution is otherwise i'd try something first.
anyway. I have switches and then an indicator lamp for things like my lights, bilge blower, and bilge pump. When I turned on the lights or bilge blower the indicator light came on, and item worked. I tried to pump the water out, turned on the bilge pump and no light came on, and I did not see water pumping. However, after I drained the water with the plug, the indicator light stayed on weather the switched was turned on or off with the key in the OFF position!!
so, do we think my bilge pump is bad? how does the indicator light have constant power? where can I start?
