bilge pump

hi everyone. i have a 18 sea ray 175 bow rider. my bilge pump bracket broke. just the part that holds pump in place. im going to replace everything in there but space is very very tight. the pump that was in there was a 450gph and it actually looks like a livewell airetor pump anyways i know thats a way small pump boat has never taken taken on water in the yr that i have had it. and i know the bigger the pump better and even two pumps is even better (just in case) but my question is can i glue the new (bracket that the new pump comes with) down in bottom? of bilge? if so what type of glue would work? if i cant glue i would need at least a 3 foot extension on the screw driver?( yes its that deep and very tight. can barley get my hand in there


and im looking at a 800gph pump (that looks like the biggest i can put in there) or just put back a similar one that was in there ? THANKS!

Some epoxy or 5200 should work fine.

ok cool thanks will that work with the transducer for depth finder as well? it was glued down inside bildge but while i was blindly fishing around down there ( cause when my hands in bilge hole i cant really see anything else its that tight lol) i found the "puck" just laying in bottom free to flop all around. i could see that it was orginally glued in tho

You will have to use an epoxy to glue transducer in bilge.

Epoxy for the transducer. It needs to "sound" through the hull. 5200 is less hard and will absorb the signal.
