bimini straps

Hey all,<br />Just got a good bimini top for my boat. How tight should the hold down straps be? Don't want to have this thing flapping about out on the lake! Thanks.

I keep 'em so tight, that it needs a good grip to put them on. It's the 'wife hardly manages' level.

Isn't it great when we have these problems in life to worry about <br /><br />I too, noticed that I had to stretch the straps to hook my new Bimini top.<br /><br />Anyting too tight will strain somewhere,in this case the strap seams.<br /><br />I loosend them a tad and it made no difference on the lake. <br /><br />I also sleep a little better for it <br /><br />Have fun.
