Just make sure you get the straps with metal clips on them so they do not slip.

Good to know. Are those the hook type clips that attach to the strap eye mounted on the boat, or the sliders that take up the slack and tension the webbed strap?

I'll keep that in mind once I get to using it and replace them if needed. Hopefully I don't have to monkey around with the bimini HW too much as it's normally a $350 bimini.

The sliders, plus one more thing with a low top when the bow comes up on standing take offs if you are pulling tubes or skiers. If top is to low cannot stand up to see over the bow... Have fun been there and done that my wife loves the bimini but will not put up till boat is on the water. Makes it a real pain and gets in the way while launching, and I lower before loading back on the trailer.. Good luck and post some photos when complete.....
