Block number and year manufactured

I have a GM 4.3l V6 I'm trying to find out more info on it
I have (finally) found the block # 10105867
and the year made # E099 but I can't find out how to translate the manufacture # so I know when it was made. Any ideas?

That's what I was thinking, but it just seemed to obvious! The boat is an '85 but it was rebuilt before I bought it.

You guys were helping me with my problem last year (Starter Grenaded)! Have had some issues going on, so I wasn't able to complete it. But I'm back at it! and will post the pics of the heads removed!

Halfway down that link has tons of info on the V6 blocks.

Since that block was made only until the mid 90's, I would say your casting date would be May 09, 1989.
