This time honored tradition seems to have this man a little upset. <br /><br />

“I recently found your bottle while taking a scenic walk on the beach by Poole Harbour. While you may consider this some profound experiment on the path and speed” of “oceanic currents, I have another name for it, litter.<br /><br />“You Americans don’t seem to be happy unless you are mucking about somewhere,” says the letter, signed by Henry Biggelsworth of Bournemouth, in Dorset County.<br />

That is too much.

I have replied to Mr. Henry Biggelsworth of Bournemouth, in Dorset County. At least one of the 2,679 bottled messages should wash up in the right place sometime in the next two or three years. And now every fish in Grapevine Lake is blitzed. Maybe they will reproduce more over the next 12 hours.<br />

Stan, just to ease your mind, I assure you I have never once laughed at anything I saw on "Happy Days." In fact, the only thing about the show that ever made me laugh was the announcement that it was to be cancelled.<br /><br />Would that be sufficient to salvage your view of the American sense of humor?<br /><br />

Yeah, I like that <br /><br />Got to admit there are a shedload of good American comedies and a real dearth of good British ones at the moment. No doubt we'll get the knack of getting some good writing again soon................
