I got this paint called blue water marine paint followed the directions word for word.used the recommended primer sanded everything.I thought everything was nice but it seems that i laid the paint to thick and it doesn't seem to drying it's been a week now and the paint is dry to the touch but if I take my nail to it to see if it's hard it'll peel up.is anyone formilar w/is paint or something simular.or do you think it will evenually dry in time?

It will dry in time but you'll be loosing some of its integrity with that one thick coat. Two thinner coats would of produced a better bond. What happens when you apply it too thick is that the chemicals in the paint can't 'gas out' causing a lot of headaches - as you now know. With the top of the paint already set up the remaining paint is unable to correctly dry. I would think that down the road it will start to checker or alligator on you. Need to remove and do it again if that happens. :(
