I will be stroing my boat outside for the forceable future and wanted a Boat Cover that will provide protection year round from Hot Florida Sun and that will also be used for trailering the boat.I welcome all suggestions on materials,

They sell quality covers here on IBoats. Also, there are other online sites such as boatcoversdirect.com. I have had success with both a cover from Iboats and one from the other site mentioned. Buy a custom fit one of quality material designed for your intended use and should be fine. Good luck.

I agree with the comments above and will add one more:

Be careful about storing a covered boat beneath trees in later autumn and/or late spring. Tree sap was responsible for numerous holes in my previous boat covers. (Acid?) I no longer let her sit beneath a tree...!

Don't buy the Aqua Shield sold here on iboats. Its made by carver and leaks like crazy. Go with Sunbrella.

What ever you get seriously consider adding some form of ventilation.

reconsider a cover suitable for trailering; they are more expensive, harder to get one that fits and sometimes fail. it's easier all around to remove the cover for driving; you can even leave it in a pile in the boat.

If it's feasible, for year round protection from Florida sun, a roof is way better than a cover.
