Have a 2003 Shamrock. The front enclosure above the windshield came with the boat. The problem I am having is - from the bottom of the enclosure, about 1/2 inch up, it is distorted. It almost looks like a sap is on it - but it is not sap. Anyone have any suggestions on cleaning this.

Welcome to iboats! NJ? Figured with your handle you were from the UK...

Your best bet is to post a picture as it is pretty hard to tell what you mean with that description. Something on your windshield? Something on the fiberglass? Some other surface?

If it is an unknown substance - what is it's consistancy? Hard like dry fiberglass resin? Slightly softer? I have used Goo Gone (Citra Solve) to clean up sap.

If you want to post pictures ... you need to have them "hosted" by a site such as photobucket.com and then the image get's inserted by using the URL.

Welcome to iboats. :)
