Boat identification

I just got a boat that looks to be very old. It has fiberglass outside over wood. The top of the boat has a lot of fiberglass to where only 4 people would fit in it. Driver and 1 passenger and then a lot of fiberglass 2.5' then another section for 2 more people. It uses an outboard motor and has a steering wheel and controllers for the steering. The Controller for the motor says Quick Silver on it with 2 controls. Given these pitiful details can you identify this boat? I could post a picture if I figure out how.

Re: Boat identification

Those dual cockpit boats were popular in the early 50s and earlier. Not so much anymore, since all you can do in them is sit and ride.

Some, like the beautiful Mahogany Chris-Crafts, are worth a pile. Others are just old boats.

With photos, we might be able to make a tentative ID, though.

What brand of outboard is on it, a Mercury? Can you describe it?

Re: Boat identification

Three motors came with it. 1-Sea King 7HP 1970, 1-Wards Model #GG9014A unknown year and 1-Evenrude Fastwin or Pastwin really can't read it from all the paint on it. It looks like about a 25HP and the other Wards looks like about a 10Hp. The only motor I have tried to start is the Sea King Wards 7HP and need to get a tank and pump to get gas/Oil to it.
