Shouldn't be a huge problem, it's coming into the splash well, there is a reason they call it a splash well; while sitting in the water on a faily calm day, water will probably come through the holes and then drain out as the boat bobs up and down.

that way it sounded is that they holes would be under the water line flooding the splash-well even in still water...

I wouldnt drive myself crazy over it....I have scuppers in my splashwell and I would say at best they are right at the water line and definitely submerged if 2 of us are standing in the back.....does the boat look like its sitting low in the stern when its at rest and nobody in it? When you are on plane are they above the water line and the well is empty? If so I would not worry about it...

Not all boat manufacturers get it right everytime with every model boat...this is a pretty common complaint....at least yours are in the splashwell...I have 2 deck drains in mine that go out through hull fittings in the sides and water frequently bubbles up through the drains when things get a little choppy...Its a known design flaw that all of us with the same boat have....you just live with it. To get the drains higher you have to raise the floor which compromises the amount of freeboard so they do the best they can.

do this measure from the top of the anti cavitation plate to the waters surface......

then measure from the bottom of the keel to the waters surface..

this will give us an idea how deep the motor is sitting in the water...(assuming you have the right motor shaft length for your transom)

what accessories do you have at the rear of the boat near the transom?

batteries?
gas tanks?
live well?
any storage back there?

how deep is the splash well from the top of the transom inside??

most splash wells are not that deep they just catch the waves that come over the transom and route them back to seas via the holes..

water should not be entering the boats splashwell via these holes at rest or under forward power

maybe in reverse or heavy seas
