On the 4wd comments....Both of my tow vehicles have either a g80 locking rear diff and one has a G86 limited slip but both have on demand awd. It's rare but every now and then at the ramp, power does go to the front wheels even though the limited slip or locker did their thing. It's in those instances that I'm happy to have power at the front. My boat is only 6000lbs on the trailer but the ramp gets heavily used and is very steep. Most times just some sort of locker on a 2wd truck is fine but every now ant then. That said, here in MN, it is the exception to not have 4wd on an actual pick up truck while we know it is very common in southern states. The front wheels coming into use in the winter is a constant.
