Boat name ideas?

Got this lovely little Boston Whaler Striper 15. Will have her ready to launch in a few weeks.<br /><br />Past boats: <br />Boston Whaler Sakonnet, Outrage 18 and Montauk were Sunshine I, II and III.<br />Boston Whaler Sport 13 was Heidi Yawl<br />Boston Whaler Tender 11 was WeeBit<br /><br />I have thought about for the Striper 15: Li'l Sweetheart, BoatZilla, Sunshine IV, Heidi Yawl II.<br /><br />Other ideas?

I have seen you mention elsewhere the Heidi Yawl II as your best option......<br /><br />To me the new boat is "new" and distinct from the original Heidi Yawl. I personally would go with something new and unique, make this boat special.<br /><br />I do like the Boatzilla idea......<br /><br />1) The Ancient Mariner<br />2) Fisherman's Delight are the only ones i can think of......

how abouts nameing her after something(or someone) thats special to you. <br /><br />i have mowzerII. thats the pwc, and it purrs(just like my mowzer) and is named after one of my favorit cats that died a few years ago. (1st favorit cat was ziggystardust of corse for me)<br /><br />and then the boat is the kennyo. she was named after my dad. since it was his boat before me, it seemed a respectful thing to do to name it after him.....<br />well, that was my method of madness to come up with a name for my boats....good luck JB. maybe name her after yer new kitty that just showed up.

I like a name that makes me laugh and say something about the owner, here are some examples of what I have seen:<br /><br />Scerosis of the River - 1965 30' Chris Craft<br />She Got the House - 60' Sea Ray (the guy had 3 gorgeous 20yr olds in string bikini's on the back)<br />Off Duty - A police officers 30'Sea Ray<br />Poole Party - The owners last name was Poole<br /><br />I thought about calling my boat "Bill C47" after the law that allowed women to go topless in Ontario, my wife didn't like it. So Just for TRICKS got the approval and there it was. I too like the Red Sky, have you checked with your wife??
