Re: Boat riding weird after all day in the water

Did it look like a wakebaord boat that had the ballasts full of water???
I wonder why? If you don't have factory ballast tanks, you now have some created by a leak, and all that water is between the deck, and the hull.
Next time out, you should notice that when you put in, the boat will plane out nice and quickly. As the day progresses, it gets sluggish, and you have what you are experiencing. When it does this, back off the throttle and idle in gear. Gradually, and very gradually bring up the throttle. You will plane out, because you did not g-force all the water to the transom, sky the bow and keep the water trapped in the stern.
When you first put in, use a little marker to mark the water line. At the end of the day, see how much lower it is.
