Boat shows anyone?

We are off to the Pittsburgh Boat Show Saturday morning, to see all the new boats and get some ideas for new stuff on our own boat. Anyone else hitting a big, or even little, boat show?

Too busy building boats to get ot any of them but I have run into a couple of our sales reps on their way through the shop and they say they are setting new sales records at almost every show so at least toons are moving which is good since I have few house payments left.

There is a boat show in Atlantic City NJ. the weekend of Feb 4th and 5th, check it out on the net. (ac nj boat show), I'll be there sat the 5th

Heading to the St. Louis Boat & Sportshow in a couple of weeks. Been going for over 25 years now and to me it always signals that spring (and boating) is right around the corner. Last year it was pretty quiet there with many regular exhibitors being no-shows. Hoping for better turnout this year.

I'll be at the Baltimore boat show tonight, and Sunday. It's a big one. I am competing in a Nautical Knowledge contest to win a seadoo as well!

Heading to the St. Louis Boat & Sportshow in a couple of weeks. Been going for over 25 years now and to me it always signals that spring (and boating) is right around the corner. Last year it was pretty quiet there with many regular exhibitors being no-shows. Hoping for better turnout this year.

I was thinking about hitting the show up this year. I'm about 75 miles away from STL, not too bad of a drive. I'm not in the market but would love to just spend the day browsing around, and looking at all the new stuff.

Won the 1st round! I got 2 more free passes and have to come back Sunday at 1 for the semi-finals, and the finals are at 2.
Saw my next boat there too...

Was just at the Milwaukee boat show on Tuesday. It was OK, not really impressed with any of the new boats out there. Kinda seems like the new boats lack storage space like they used to have.

We went to the Providence Boat Show last weekend. It's a small indoor show but it was fun. This year, they brought back the sailboats too.

I lost! I came in 3rd place. 2nd place got a free slip, 1st the Seadoo. The kid that won deserved it, he was on the ball!

i was dissapointed in the louisville show, but more important i was more dissapointed in the new pontoons, the ones we looked at were 15,000-25,000 and you really dont get a lot for that, no marine plywood (it apperared to be 1/2-5/8 and wasnt even treated) and the motors were 20 horse. One tri toon we looked at was 68,000, and had a a crazy 250 hp merc. on it. but once again the decking looked like the others, (i guess i just cant see myself spending that on cool looking seats and a big motor), on the upside looking at them made me feel a whole lot better about my project pontoon and how i am going about doing it. That was worth it going if nothing else
